More Documentary talk

So yesterday evening, I watched a documentary called "Tiny" This film is about a man who builds himself a house under 200 square feet. He built it for about 26,000 dollars. It has running water, working electricity and all the things you'd expect in a normal sized house. He bought like one acre of land in Colorado. He basically has nature surrounding his house, with some of the most stunning views this world has to offer. Okay, this guy is not the first to do this. There are thousands of people just like him. What the amazing thing is though, he had no construction for  experience. He moved around a lot when he was younger, so he never really had a physical place he could call home. He wanted to build this home by himself so he could feel an emotional connection to where he will live most of his adult life.

Most of the people that want to live in small houses, feel like they don't like wanting all these useless material possessions. They like to be in nature more often. Some of these people are badly in debt and don't really have a choice. The majority want to feel more of connection to nature and want to focus on relationships rather than status. I could really see myself doing the same. I mean I'd need more than 200 square feet to accommodate for the size of my chair. I like the idea of not having a lot of stuff. All I really need(material possession wise) is my Desktop, my TV, my Xbox 360, my Xbox one, my movie collection, and some clothing. Well i'd obviously need a kitchen and bathroom as well. If I become rich i'm gonna do it for sure! I'd buy a large plot of land and put the tiny house right in the middle of it. I'd also get a paved walkway throughout the land.

Have tress planted along the side of the walkway. I'd have a few covered areas, just in case. I would get up early in the morning and do the whole path. After that I'd have some breakfast while I watch some Netflix. Then I'd write my blog post. After that if needed, I'd do a few hours of video editing. Then I'd watch some more Netflix while I eat dinner. Then I'd play some video games. The last thing I'd do everyday is do the path again. That would be a beautiful life!

Now let's talk about the documentary I watched today. It was called "I AM" You could say it has some sort of connection to "Tiny"  It's about what ails us as a society and ways we can improve our world as a whole. There was a very interesting fact brought up that I'd like to share. Anger clouds your judgment and makes you do some really stupid things. When you are happy, you begin to think clearly, and some really great things can come from your happiness. So what they are basically saying, is that you should learn to use kindness and generosity instead of anger to solve issues.

Another interesting fact; all animals in the animal kingdom use cooperation to figure things out. We are animals, yet we normally use competition to get things done. The only time you see cooperation in humans, is when something horrible happens around the world. Things get done quite fast when we use cooperation. I believe if we used cooperation all the time, we'd be centuries ahead of our time. I don't really do the documentary justice, so just watch it and you'll be glad you did.

Two more things before I go. We are all connected on this planet. Everything is alive. It's not like a spiritual thing though. There is an actual connection! Every-time you inhale then exhale, the air you exhale goes around the room and back outside. So the air we breathe, is the recycled air throughout history. We breathe the same air as the dinosaurs did! It might be chalk full of pollutants now, but it is the same air. Last thing; the heart sends out electric waves constantly. That's why when two people are in love, their heartbeats can synchronize. So if we are not communicating, our hearts communicate for us. I believe we can train ourselves to use our hearts properly.

The moral of the documentary is to love everybody around you. So the key to life is that simple! Love and this planet will benefit greatly. Anyway this is the end to another post. I'll be back tomorrow for more! Peace! When in despair, eat a gummy bear!

Quote of the Day:

"Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way." -Martin Luther King Jr
