Poems by me 4

This will be a short post as I plan to start my new short story. I really don't have much to say today anyway. It works in the end. I'm going to be showing you one of my oldest poems. I took one stanza out today, as I didn't really think it fit. I call this "As I look out the Window"

As I look out the window
All I see is time passing by
I think to myself
I haven’t lived
A day in my life

I’ve probably dealt with more than most people
But I haven’t really lived a day in my 22 years
Never experienced a high school party
Never been pressured to try drugs
Never even kissed a girl

There are many things I wish I could do
I wanna walk a mile in my four year old shoes
I would love to play hockey
I want to travel without having to worry about
Where I’ll sleep

22 years
Haven’t lived a day
Basically watching time pass me by
Wish I were different
As I look out the window


In the next few weeks, I'll be posting most of poems I've written.
