Okay, I have some cool updates for you guys and gals. I started writing my new story on Friday evening, and got about one page done. I took a break when my buddy came over. We played some video games and had fun doing so. On Saturday afternoon, I got back to the story and whipped up another 4 pages in about 6 hours. So far I'am quite pleased with how the story is coming along. I can already tell it'll be over 12 pages. I could potentially make it into a novel, but as of now it'll be a long short story. I'm thinking it'll be roughly 15-20 pages. That's it on the story front.
Let's move on to the YouTube front.
Josh and I had a full day of filming and brainstorming for upcoming episodes. When Dawn of the Planet of the Apes comes out, we will go see it and review it for you in an episode. It comes out on Friday July 11th, so that means if we see it on the Sunday, you could watch the review by the Tuesday. We will give it a rating and try not to be biased. Science Fiction is probably my favourite movie genre, ya ya i'm a geek, what of it?. With that in mind my rating may just be a little higher than it should be. It'll be in our opinion though, so keep that in mind. If you watch the review and decide to watch the film, don't get angry if you don't agree with us. If this movie review thing goes well, we might just review other movies in the future.
We'd listen to our audience on what we would review the next time. Okay, we filmed two talking episodes yesterday, one will be released on Tuesday. The Tuesday episode is about Canada day. The second one I might actually release on Thursday. I'm not 100% sure though. We did film another video game episode yesterday, but we might just scrap the whole video game aspect. I know we haven't uploaded a video game episode, but i'm just not feeling it. I think the problem may be the camera we use, as the TV screen looks a bit blurry on film. Maybe if we start using my phone, it'll look better. I just need a clip so I can attach the phone to the tripod. It wasn't a total waste, editing the video game episodes. It really gave me some valuable editing experience. I believe I've become much better at editing in this short period of time. Anyway in the second talking episode, we talk about a quote from Ernest Hemingway. We end off the video with Josh reading one of my poems. You will have to tune in for that episode to learn more.
I'd say our first video did well. We didn't really market our channel anywhere. Well I told a few friends to check it out, other than that nothing really. We got 7 views, I believe. If any of you reading this are interested in seeing our first video, search up "JTStudio14" on YouTube. It is much appreciated from Josh and from myself that you please check it out. If you like the video then maybe you can subscribe to our channel. We will definitely be acknowledging early on subscribers and maybe, even send you a shirt if we end up buying some shirts for ourselves.
Anyway that's the end to post 31. I'll be back on tomorrow for more blog madness. Peace! When in despair, eat a gummy bear!
