CANADA DAY!
Today is Canada's 147th birthday! As I type this, my Canada day episode is uploading to YouTube. Check it out at JTStudio14! There is not much I have to say today! Today will be full of editing and story writing. I'd like to get a lot of writing today. I hope you guys and gals enjoy today's episode. Even if you are from the United States, I hope you learn about some famous Canadians. We could of spent hours, talking about famous Canadians. I think we talked about some really important ones. We don't spend the whole episode talking about Canada though. If you want to know what else we talk about, go check it out for yourself!
Since this was a short post I will post something really Canadian!
Hey, I'm not a lumberjack, or a fur trader....
I don't live in an igloo or eat blubber, or own a dogsled....
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really really nice.
I have a Prime Minister, not a president.
I speak English and French, not American.
And I pronounce it 'about', not 'a boot'.
I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, not policing,
diversity, not assimilation,
and that the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal.
A toque is a hat, a chesterfield is a couch,
and it is pronounced 'zed' not 'zee', 'zed' !!!!
Canada is the second largest landmass!
The first nation of hockey!
and the best part of North America
My name is Joe!!
And I am Canadian!!!
That rant totally encompasses what it means to be CANADIAN! Every time I hear it, I get goosebumps. Like the goosebumps you get when, you get awesome vibes from something.
Anyway, I'm gonna end this there. I'll be back tomorrow for more blog madness! Peace! When in despair, eat a gummy bear!
Quote of the Day:
" I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person." -Audrey Hepburn
