New Things going on

So you guys know all about the writing I've been doing the past year. Well i'm still doing that don't worry. In fact I wrote a poem on Saturday, after I went for a one hour ride. I titled it "The Perfect ride" It was probably one of my best poems yet! I really enjoyed the outcome of it. It speaks to me is all. Yesterday was my birthday get together. Didn't go according to plan. 4 people were supposed to show up, only 2 did. I only invited like 7 people, so I mean that is not a bad turnout. Even with two people showing up, we had fun.  

Talked about lots of different things. From Star Wars to what you would do if you were given one million dollars and you had to spend it all in one place. All I can say it was an all around grand time. Of the two people, one was my novel editor. He brought me a book called "Canadian Crimes" by a Max Haines. It is about all the gruesome serial killers Canada has seen. I haven't had the chance to crack it open. I'm really intrigued by the book though. With my novel being about a serial killer, it is a good research tool. So that's exciting; might give me more of an idea how serial killers behave and operate in normal society. 

Also I have ideas for more poems lined up. There is also a short story, I'm thinking about doing less of story line and more of an action packed blood bath. It'll still have a back story, so not completely void of plot development. This blog has been going on for a little over a week; I'm really enjoying writing it. I have got nothing but good reviews. I thank all of you, who read this blog. It means the world to me, it really does. I will continue this blog, for as long as I can. All I can say is i'll be here for at least the rest of the year.  I'm looking forward to doing all this writing. 

Okay,  now let's get to what I am extremely excited about! I passed an idea off to my buddy/editor, Josh and he really liked the idea. This was about a week ago...Anyway the idea was that we start a YouTube channel together. So yesterday we talked more about the idea. It'll be like a talk show, where we may review movies. We are still working out the structure of the channel. We might do two or three different shows. Every show will have a specific aspect that will make it special. We aren't gonna half-ass this thing! We are going to give it a 110% effort! I made the channel last night before I went to bed. I created a logo for the channel. It's simple but I love it!

I named the channel JTStudio 14. Studio because for the gmail  account JT Poductions or JT Incorporated was already taken. JT is just the initials of our first names. And 14, well we will be doing the filming at my place. My house number is 104... so I dropped the 0, because I thought it didn't sound so appealing to me. So that is how we came up with JTStudio 14. This is the channel art.

I honestly love it! We decided that before we name the show(s), that we would figure out what will be going on the show(s). I would really love to have guests on the show. If any of you reading this would like to be a guest on a show, tell me so in the comment section on this blog. I'll be going through so many ideas, my head might just explode hahahahha. I'll pass all my ideas by Josh. We might actually start filming some stuff this week, if we come up with a concrete structure. We will at least have a good brainstorming session. I'm going to have to relearn how to edit video footage, as I haven't done it for the last five years or so. It has got to be easier now, right? I guess I'll find out shortly!

 I'm so fucking excited to do this, I can't even muster the correct phrase to explain this excitement! So that is what I have planned in my future.
