Ralph Part Two

We left off with the King of Klondike, deciding to bring all the young male polar bears from The Royal  Sanctuary, to his Castle. We will start off with The King, The Fisherman, Ralph, and the other polar bears entering the Castle grounds. Hope you all enjoy part two of Ralph!

 Hours later,
The King and Fisherman have just arrived at the Castle with Ralph and thirty other Bears following behind. The doors to the Courtyard slowly open up. The King and his new guests walk on through.  All the Royalty in the courtyard clap and bow as the majestic beasts walk past them. As the King and his company reach the Castle gate, the large bronze gate is lifted up.  The Castle has a twenty foot high ceiling in the grand hall. There are golden chandeliers hanging down from the ceiling. There is Purple carpeting with the insignia of Klondike stitched in every five feet. The insignia is of gold thread; it is a shield with a polar bear with battle armour on it. The carpet leads all the way to the Kings elaborate throne. The throne is about ten feet high.

The armrests and entire skeleton of the chair is pure gold. The back rest and cushion is deep purple with a crown imprinted at the top of the backrest. The King took a right at the first of five archways in the giant hall. The Fisherman and the bears follow him. The King says “Ok, this is the training area for the bears.” The door is opened by a royal guard. The room is five times bigger than the grand hall.  The ceiling must be fifty feet tall.  In the center of the room there is a redwood tree standing tall.
The tree goes far above the castles roof. There is hole in the ceiling; almost a perfect circle with a fifty foot diameter.  The room has battle armour all over the walls. There are five boxing mats lined up behind the redwood. The King says “Far in the back of the room is a door to outside where the bears will be living while they train. Except Ralph, Ralph will be staying in my royal training center where he will train with me.”

Five years later,

Lux has amassed a giant army in the Province of wrath, a province Lux took control of.  An army of twenty thousand is just waiting for Klondike to make the next move. Klondike’s entire army is twenty thousand.  If Klondike makes the wrong move, the other twenty thousand men Lux has will clean up the mess. Lux doesn’t know that Klondike has two thousand bears in the army, especially one bear that is just as smart as a human.

Ralph has being training hard and is now seventeen. He has gained much more muscle. He now weighs roughly 800 pounds. The King walks into the training centre with Ralph right behind him. It is graduation day for all the battle ready bears. At graduation day, the bears are given their armour; the armour used to be made of bronze and silver but is now made of Diem. After the 150 bears are knighted, it is now Ralph’s turn. The King picks up the 200 pound armour with ease.  Ralph walks up slowly and bows his head. The King unsheathes his red Diem blade and points it to the ceiling. He looks to the tree for a minute. He starts to speak “I hear by knight thee, Ralph the Polar Bear…. General!”  The King slowly taps Ralph with the blade.

The crowd full of military men suddenly stand up and clap and cheer “Ralph! Ralph! Ralph!” The cheering goes on non-stop for about ten minutes.  The King finally puts his hand in the air and the room goes dead silent. The King puts the layer of chainmail on Ralph’s back. Ralph stands up on his hind legs and The King fastens the chainmail in the front. Ralph goes back on all fours, so The King can put on the big piece of Diem armour. The armour is a shiny dark red and has gold and silver trim throughout.  The King slowly places the heavy piece on Ralph’s back.

He clips the piece to the chainmail. The King grabs the last pieces of the suit; the cuffs to protect Ralph’s legs. When all the armour was set, Ralph turns around. Ralph stands up on two legs and lets out a monstrous roar. In an overpowering voice, Ralph says “FOR KLONDIKE!” The crowd repeats “FOR KLONDIKE!”   The King says “NOW IT IS TIME TO GO TO WAR! TIME TO GET OUR NATION BACK!  THOSE LUX BASTARDS WON’T KNOW WHAT HIT THEM! FOR KLONDIKE!” The crowd repeats “FOR KLONDIKE!”

The King raises his arms. In an even louder yell, the crowd said “FOR KLONDIKE!!!” The King,  still not satisfied raises his arms a second time. The crowd takes a breath, lets out a giant roar, and yells at the top of their lungs “FOR KLONDIKE!!!”  It was so loud, that the giant window overlooking the courtyard explodes into a billion little pieces.  The King yells “THAT’S MORE LIKE IT! NOW LET’S KICK SOME LUX ASS! FOR KLONDIKE!” For a fourth time, but definitely wouldn’t be the last time that day the crowd yelled “FOR KLONDIKE!!!”

That is the end of Part two. If you couldn't tell, Klondike is preparing for the battle of the century. So tune in tomorrow to read the ending to my short story! Peace! When in despair, eat a gummy bear!

QOTD(Quote of the Day)

"What if a demon were to creep after you one night, in your loneliest loneliness, and say, ‘This life which you live must be lived by you once again and innumerable times more; and every pain and joy and thought and sigh must come again to you, all in the same sequence. The eternal hourglass will again and again be turned and you with it, dust of the dust!’ Would you throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse that demon? Or would you answer, ‘Never have I heard anything more divine?" -Friedrich Nietzsche
